Today’s mention goes to a great VetNetwork client, that, not only, has been providing excellent veterinary care in Colorado Springs for approximately two decades; but one that has also, made sure to give back to the Colorado community itself. Meet Faithful Friends Animal Hospital in Colorado Springs.
It’s not often easy to be able to balance a successful, quality animal hospital with community involvement efforts, but our Colorado veterinarians have done it and done it well. For Faithful Friends Animal Hospital, though, they believe that their involvement in the community by way of schools, churches, and organizations is not a choice, but an imperative:
“As far as we are concerned, Colorado Springs and our region of the Rocky Mountains is one of the most beautiful places on the planet, and is blessed with wonderful people and communities. We know that if it were not for our friends and neighbors we would not have been able to achieve all that we have”.
In addition to time, donation, and education spent in schools and churches, the Colorado Springs veterinary hospital also routinely works with the Humane Society of the Pikes Peak Region, 9 Lives Rescue, and Dreampower Animal Rescue organizations in pet adoption efforts for homeless animals; as well as with the police department for training for police K-9s, and with schools for educating children on animal welfare and veterinary careers.
Dr. William Puryear and the Staff at Faithful Friends Animal Hospital’s involvement with their community should serve as a model for all communities that serve humans and pets alike: collaborative, socially-responsible, and forward-moving. To you, we tip our hats.
